This Hotel was designed and built by Frenchman Jean Paul Feuillet of Nantes and his Canadian wife Elizabeth Newton. The concept of the design was inspired by years of sailing in the Mediterranean and traveling through Africa. After restoring a castle in Spain, where the famous poet Garcia Lorca had hidden for a few years, they chose Cahuita amongst many other places and settled indefinitely to create their dream hotel.

The architectural design gives the hotel a unique ambiance bestowing an unexplainable sensation of relaxation and beauty. The warmth and charm of this place compels many tourists to come again and again.

The Inn was run by a family member and later sold to Sunny Finley, who is the current owner of the hotel. The hotel has gone under its first round of remodeling and upgrading its foundation to bring it back to its original beauty. Over the last two years the hotel has been structurally updated with continued projects of renewal and modernization.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, one feels as on an island paradise, a sanctuary from the rest of the world.
